How to pay attention in Finnish

Here's a small post about paying attention to something in Finnish, kiinnittää huomiota. Kiinni is closed or shut. Kiinnittää is to attach. Huomio is attention. The case government follows the same logic as English, so you should have the adverbial in illative.
